Meet the one that started it all.. Sue Whiteman !
She lives  and breathes horses. Not only a vet for 34 years ,  but also trains her horses before they are adopted out ! Either by herself or has them sent to  a professional trainer. So that they can be placed in the best home possible . Unlike many rescues , Sue takes the time to know you .  Matches the perfect horse for you,   to assure the perfect forever home for her friends. She loves them like children , she takes the time  to makes sure you and them are getting what they want and need ! Such a loving touch to know your future horse is being taken care of and loved even before  they come to their new home♥️

 Horse-Angels, Inc. Horse Rescue is a not for profit horse rescue in Spencer, IN.  Our mission is to save horses that are in inhumane situations that law enforcement personnel have inspected, and deemed it necessary to remove the horses from their current circumstances. Once at Horse-Angels, the horses are rehabilitated , professionally trained, and adopted to qualified homes. Those that are not able to be fully rehabilitated due to the extent of their abuse, remain in the safety of Horse-Angels and receive needed veterinary care, love, and retirement on large pastures with shelters or stalls.Recovered and trained horses are available for adoption to qualified homes. Those with permanent disabilities or behavior issues will remain at Horse-Angels for their lifetimes.
